KLA won another workforce training contract worth $580,000 from the State of California’s Employment Training Panel (ETP) on Friday, October 18, 2013 in Sacramento.

The monies will supplement direct training costs for courses delivered to its front-line workers in Milpitas. Efren Lopez made the presentation on behalf of the KLA and received unanimous approval from the seven member board. Efren stated that he was pleased with the results of past ETP contracts and felt privileged to partner with the ETP program to develop KT employees. The support provided by the State of California though ETP has allowed KT to leverage the experience and capabilities of its current workforce through education and development rather than downsizing and outsourcing California-based jobs.
