ETP: Statutory Criteria.

ETP proposals require executive sponsorship and justification as to the need for funding.

  • Customized Training

    Training must be customized to employer needs and/or strategic initiatives.

  • Supplemental Training

    Training must be “supplemental” to training regularly provided by employers.

  • Contributions Towards Cost

    Training must be supported by employer in-kind contributions to the cost of training.

  • California-Based Training

    Training must be delivered in California, (except on-line instruction) to eligible employees.
